Jordan, our head chef, boasts over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having honed his skills at some of Plymouth’s best restaurants. His love for cooking started in childhood, fueled by a dream of one day owning his own establishment.
Alicia and Jordan’s paths crossed at The Windmill, where Jordan was the head chef and Alicia worked as a waitress. Their shared vision and passion for the industry led to the opening of their first business, Plates, in 2023.
Alicia brings 7 years of diverse experience in the hospitality trade, with expertise in bar, cocktail, and wine training, along with strong skills in waitressing and management. Together, they now run Eighteen87, striving to make it the best family-run pub and restaurant in the area.
